1 pack of frozen puff pastry sheets
¼ cup milk
1 tsp butter
For filling:
1 tsp - oil
1 medium sized onion- chopped
2 mediun sized potatoes - diced
½ cup of mixed vegetables
( carrots,peas,corn cauliflower)
1 tomato
1 tsp – Jeera / Cumin
½ tsp - turmeric.
1tsp – Garam masala
1tsp – coriander powder
¼ tsp- red chilli powder
½ tsp – ginger-garlic paste
Fresh Cilantro / Coriander
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp Lemon Juice
Water
METHOD:
For Filling:
In a pan, heat oil, add onion and cumin and sauté till golden brown
Add mixed vegetables
Add all the red chilli, garam masala, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and
pepper, ginger-garlic paste. Mix well
Add water and fresh cilantro.
Cook well till water evaporates
Add tomatoes and lemon juice.
Garnish with fresh cilantro.
Thaw the pastry sheets for at least 30 minutes
Cut the sheets vertically into 3 parts
Then horizontally into 2 parts =
Total 9 squares
Each sheet will make 9 puffs
Take each square and add filling
Fold into a triangle and press the edges to seal.
Make a mixture of milk and melted butter
Brush this mixture on each puff
Grease a baking tray and place puffs on the sheet
Preheat oven to 350F
Bake the puffs for 30-35 minutes till they turn golden brown.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup
