   Buying organic food is often going to be helping the small family farms who can attend to the micro management of their land and plants much better than a large corporate farm can.
   Organics does not mean a reduction in yield per acre as is often promulgated by corporate farm backers, on the contrary, there are many examples of small farms with much higher yields per acre due to the highly complex interactions between plants and animals and humans... as well as the (generally) more intensive cultivation practices used.</description>
