Are you thinking of loosing some weight, perhaps on the run up to Christmas or some other celebrtion. Maybe you are not a vegetarian but feel that a vegetarian diet could help you loose weight. Whatever the reason the the advice is the same, choose a diet with plenty of grain products, vegetables, and fruits.

Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets have advantages. Vegetarian diets tend to be rich in antioxidants, certain vitamins, and healthy fats. Non-vegetarian diets, by contrast, tend to contain more protein, iron, zinc, calcium, and vitamin B-12.
